An astrolabe is an elaborate inclinometer, and can be considered an analog calculator capable of working out several different kinds of problems in astronomy. Historically used by astronomers and navigators to measure the altitude above the horizon of a celestial body, day or night, it can be used to identify stars or planets, to determine local latitude given local time, to survey, or to triangulate. Armillary's and other instruments like these were (are) used by the Moors and now the freemasons (Muslims Sons) who use its principles to circumnavigate time and space. This treatise explains this in simpler terms and how we too can and should start to practice this ancient art once again inshallah
